Following three years unique and positive partnership working, the first stage of the project has concluded having successfully developed -

A Workforce Development Plan for the publicly funded legal advice sector
National Occupational Standards for the provision of publicly funded legal advice
A Foundation Degree Framework for legal advice

All are available on this website.

Most recently, we have been working closely with a sector skills council, Skills for Justice.

A draft NVQ(s) framework for the NOS for legal advice is now available for consultation via the link below.

The consultation on the draft NVQ(s) framework will remain open until 30 June 2008.

The draft NVQ Framework was developed in discussion with the NOS4Advice Standards Steering Group (SSG).

Skills for Justice are inviting feedback and your views are important.

Feedback is sought from practitioners, individuals, or groups from advice agencies.
